In September, the European Union citizens and those who are living in the neighboring countries are celebrating the European Cooperation Day, an event that aims to inform the local communities about the activities of European territorial cooperation carried out in the cross-border regions. Interreg programs joined this communication campaign by organizing events addressed to the general public and beneficiaries of European funding.

The European Cooperation Day is one of the most important communication activities organized within the Interreg-IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Romania-Serbia Programme. The experience gained during the previous years has proven that the organization of this event can be considered an important element to support the cross-border cooperation between Romania and Serbia and it may be considered a true cultural bridge between the citizens living in the Romanian-Serbian cross-border area.
