Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia celebrates the annual European Cooperation Day this September and early October with 15 events, organized by nine projects, which are being implemented within this Programme.
The Programme’s goal for this year’s celebration is to showcase what the cross-border cooperation between the two neighbouring countries is in effect and to raise awareness about the importance of the EU investments in the region.
Within this celebration, the project Modern Folking – “Strengthening multicultural relations by youth events organization in the border region” will organize a music evening, on 14 September 2019 in Kanjiža, Serbia. The event is a part of the Fonó Club, a series of events, which aim to promote the ethno culture by organizing folk dance events for young people. These events introduce the ethno culture and bring it closer to young people. The event program includes folk concerts and folk dance houses of multiple nations, including folk dance teaching.
