Coming up, 3 full days of action to celebrate European Cooperation Day during 2-4 October 2019. The Republic of Moldova will be the scene of the forthcoming events focused on the slogan „Let’s clean our future!”.
There will be debates on waste management, clean-up actions and awareness campaigns involving youths and their environmental perception. Engaging youths in the events it is anticipated the development of an interest in and concern for the environment. Further, the youths’ environmental awareness has been recognized as a key element in the development of an inclination, potentially throughout life, to care for the environment.
The events are in line with the European Cooperation Day concept proposed this year by the ENI CBC Black Sea Basin Programme, spreading awareness of environmental challenges and good waste management practices in the Black Sea Basin region.
The itinerary in the Republic of Moldova is Cahul (2 October 2019), Chisinau (3 October 2019) and Falesti (4 October 2019).
