The Italian Contact Point of the Interreg Central Europe Programme hosted by Veneto Region, in the framework of the EC DAY campaign 2019, organizes an amateur photo competition to have a figurative proof of our cooperation projects’ impact on territories and raise citizens’ awareness about the benefits of being part of Europe engaging them in the values of cooperation. The aim is to capture the essence of European cooperation projects and spirit through a picture that would speak to both stakeholders and the general public.
Participants will have to submit a picture (preferably .jpeg format) representing an answer to the question: “Why EUROPE IS YOU?” (how Europe benefits you), which is the slogan of the EC DAY 2019 campaign.
The competition is open to Italian Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE project partners, partners of other ETC Programmes provided that Veneto Region is part of the Programme area and they are based in Veneto Region, every citizen of/student/resident in the Italian Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE cooperation area or in the Veneto Region cooperation area of the above mentioned Programmes.
The competition is open from Monday 29th July until Thursday 12nd September 11:59 p.m. (Central European Time-CET).
In early September, the jury will select 20 finalist photos and the authors will be invited to a local event in the frame of the EC DAY 2019 campaign taking place in Venice on 16th September.
9 final winners will be selected by the people attending the EC DAY event. The winning photos will receive smart watch, other attractive Europe Is You promotional materials and an official certificate acknowledging this recognition.
