The Managing Authority of the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia Programme and the Joint Secreteriat, in collaboration with the Slovene Info Point, organised a cross-border event at the Park of Škojcan Caves (Matavun) on September 21 st, in order to celebrate the European Cooperation Day.
The aim of the event was to promote and spread the benefits and values of european cooperation by presenting the results achieved in the framework of the Interreg V-A Italy – Slovenia 2014-2020 Programme.
Participants took part in various recreational activities, organised to involve families, young people and children. On the occasion of European Cooperation Day, the Park offered to participants two free caves visits and a bike tour in the Caves Regional Park, with electric bikes provided by Mobitour Project, one of the projects funded by the Programme, which operates in the framework of a sustainable mobility of cross-border tourism.
Moreover, a creative workshop was held for children as well as some stands with local products, and a photo corner, in which people could receive an instant photo as a memory of the day.
