The Interreg IPA CBC Programme between Greece and the Republic of North Macedonia participated in the festivities of the European Cooperation Day 2019 by organizing events in both countries.
As 2019 is the European Year of Rare Diseases, the Programme bodies decided to organize an event with a project related to health.
The event in Greece was co-organized with the two Greek beneficiaries of Heart Safe Cities project (ie. 4th Regional Health Directorate of Macedonia – Thrace and Municipality of Kalamaria). It involved Basic Life Support (BLS) live hands-on demonstration for the community, delivered by certified instructors.
Characteristics
The main event was enriched with an exhibition of 8 interactive panels on European cooperation that visitors will have to respond or interact with.
